Our heavy machinery training is for real people in real industry jobs. You won’t hear or see us selling ‘Dump Truck’ tickets as the best thing since sliced bread as we work closely with industry and know that paying for a dump truck ticket wont get you a job in the mines. But we will provide you with a range of load shifting courses from Skid Steer, Excavator, Loader, and Roller that are delivered by professional trainers that have tons of industry verified load shifting experience.

Generally heavy machinery training is recognised as the training of people in the use of earthmoving equipment such as excavators, loaders, rollers, backhoes, graders and scrapers etc that are generally used for constructions involving earthworks, digging foundations, landscaping, transporting loads etc.

Why Heavy Machinery Training?

Getting qualified in operating heavy machinery training has real advantages and our earthmoving machinery courses are based on the national units of competency for both the mining and civil industries. Courses generally cover topics appropriate for mobile plant operators such as planning and preparing for machinery and plant operation, operating the heavy earth moving machinery or plant and then carrying our post operational procedures of the earthmoving machinery. Students spend time learning the theory and then most importantly, time out on the earthmoving and heavy machines training and putting the theory they have just discovered into practice.

Our Machinery Courses conducted with our industry partners ensures that each student receives the best possible training and leaves the course with industry knowledge. Courses are broken up into the two main sectors that use heavy machinery and earthmoving machinery the ‘civil’ and ‘mining’ sectors.

We also do VOC’S (Verification of Competency) for all heavy machinery and earthmoving machinery where we can convert your mine site authorisations to civil, RII and mine recognised units of competencies or Statement of Attainments.

In several cases, students already have been operating heavy earth moving machines for long periods of time and just need to be certified as they have never gotten around to it or need to be re-certified if they have the old yellow and blue OHS ticket for a new job or contract. We can help with a time efficient and fuss free process that recognises your previous experience and abilities in heavy machinery operation.
